New User Instructions
New users of the site must first register with the site and with the forum. The registrations are separate.
Membership is available to anyone directly involved in a New York Comfort Care home, including paid staff, volunteers and board members.
Follow the following steps to get started:
Web Site Registration
- Click on the Registration link and complete the form with your information.
- Click on "Enter Information" button.
- You will get a return e-mail with your username and password for the site. You can then return to the site and login using the button on the main page.
Forum Registration
Registration for the forum also is required and is separate.
- Once you have logged in to the member area, click on the link to Access the Forum
- In the upper right you will see a link to Register. Click on that.
- Complete the form that opens. Click on the Continue button and then complete the Captcha.
- Soon after completing these steps, you will receive an e-mail with an activation link in it. Click on the link and you will be activated.
- Before you can post, you need to be approved by the administrator. We will try to complete that as quickly as possible.
- In future to access the forum you may need to click on the Login link you will see in the upper right.
